Mary-Ann Kane-Meddock studied in San Francisco at the University of Somerville before coming to England in 1999. Whilst living in a convent in East Anglia she saw an advert for a job on a new feature film by an up and coming Italian director. After escaping from the convent and ending up in France by walking through the Channel Tunnel by mistake, she eventually made it back in time for the job interview wearing nothing more than a tartan blanket. She now works as a production assistant at Granculo Productions in Covent Garden, London.
